Veteran's Day



We would like to thank all the men and women who have served our country. Thank you for giving all to keep us safe.  May God bless you!

  12. Dear Lucy,
    Thank you for posting that famous photo. It's a very special one to me. My dad was a Marine and he fought on Iwo Jima. He had been injured and was on a hospital ship just off the shore when that flag went up.

    ...There's a wonderful book called Flags of our Fathers written by the son of one of the men in the photo. It's beautifully written. I highly recommend it.
