(Sort of) Easy Sunday
I'm doing my best to have an Easy Sunday, but it isn't easy with the hulking white beast everywhere I go.
Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em:

Introducing Pierrot...
Annie's "Lady" here. This is Pierrot. He fills an empty spot in my husband's heart after he lost sweet Simba last year. They were best buds.
He comes from Save the Cats, Inc. His family was evicted from their home and they tossed him on the streets of Philadelphia. Fortunately, a neighbor called STC. He's approximately three years old.
He's a gentle giant (emphasis on both gentle and giant), but he's very obsessed with Annie. He wants to play with her, but the feeling is not mutual. She growls almost every time she sees him. He loves to wait until she turns her back and he hides and then jumps out at her. Hopefully, in a few weeks, peace will reign in our household once again. He hasn't hissed, growled or even done an angry meow to her.
Unfortunately, this afternoon we discovered he has worms. He's off to the vet tomorrow. He's happy, loves to eat and play and so far is a good boy with lots of curiosity. Annie gets just as much attention from me as ever and I just hope she feels comfortable again soon.

Watching
There's a lot going on at our place that I will share with you very soon. It involves an intruder and a friend for the Big Guy (who misses his best friend Simba). Let's just say I've been very busy watching my home and I've been a tad nervous. The lady has been constantly reassuring me. However, treats and sunshine have been plentiful so life is still good.

Finally Friday!
I spent most of the day yesterday on top of my cat tree...
...so late afternoon I spent my time under my tree.
I think I like the top is the best, but sometimes it's fun to mix it up. Happy Friday, dear friends! I hope you get some time this weekend to do something you enjoy!

This and That Thursday
You can't tell, but I'm purring here. I'm anticipating my treats. The lady says, "Annie, I have to make the bed first." Why? I think an unmade bed is the most comfortable.
She was hoping to get a picture of me today with my eyes open. I opened them each time she turned the camera off. Hey, that's the way I roll.

Easy Sunday
Well, as you can see, I still have my cat tree and I still use it. It's a nice place to spend an Easy Sunday. I've got a view and snoozability.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

We're Back!
We're still here! It's been about two and a half months!
In some of our last posts, we talked about the lady and big guy house shopping. Well, they bought a house--they're first-time home buyers. It's been a lot of work for them but we're finally all settled and the work, for now, seems to have abated.
Friends, at first, I was so scared. The movers were smelly and loud and I couldn't find anything familiar even though the lady kept pointing out all my things. I hid in the trickiest, most unheard of hiding places. Sadly, the big guy came by and obstructed all entrances to those hiding places because they said I could get hurt. Plus, the second day we were here, when they came back from errands, they couldn't find me. They tore the place apart for about an hour and the lady was reduced to tears. There's a bottom kitchen drawer that missing its drawer but it's where they put all their grocery sacks. I came out of there, the last vestige of hiding places. That's now been thwarted as well.
p.s. Aloha to my friends in Honolulu! :)
