Yesterday was laundry day so we took advantage of the unmade bed. We were there all day, no exaggeration. The lady said, "Come on, guys, you need to do your selfies." She woke us up. Can you tell?

Our hearts feel so big and full. We were really moved by the sweet comments you all left here and/or at Lola's blog about my rescue story. Your friendship to us means so much.
I finished the first week of antibiotics and have one week to go. I still feel great. I decided that I did not like the first prescription diet food the lady bought. She returned it and bought the other brand. The lady was shocked at the price. A 7.5 pound bag costs $40. I'm still not sure if I will snub that one or not. If so, the lady doesn't know what the next step will be diet-wise. She's still feeding us our regular canned food. The goal is to keep my urine PH normal so I don't form stones and apparently diet has a big role in that.
We wish you a happy day!
This is a picture of me from October 2011, just shortly after I came to live with the lady and big guy. I was five years old and just recently had my bladder stone surgery.
Why am I showing you an old picture? Well, the lady was asked for my rescue story by Lola and Lexy's mom at Lola The Rescued Cat. They are posting it today on their blog. If you're not acquainted with their lovely blog, now would be a perfect time. Lola and Lexy are so sweet and are both rescue kitties themselves. They feature rescue stories on Thursdays and today is mine! Please click here to read my story.
We love Selfie Sunday. We get to see our friends' selfies and meet new friends too!

Yesterday was the first day of spring:
Today is sunny and may get up to the 50s! I'll be making up for lost time with sun puddles. Happy Caturday!
Yesterday, the lady bought me a catnip carrot. Pierrot took over the catnip dynamite stick. The lady apologizes for the worse-than-usual picture quality. I was moving a lot and the lighting was horrible.
We sure had fun!
Remember
when I posted about my vet appointment last Saturday? You guys left
the sweetest comments by the way. Well, my urine test
came back with blood, bacteria and
crystals present. Yesterday, I started on antibiotics and a prescription diet. The Big Guy has to give me the antibiotics twice a day for two weeks! Then, in a month, my urine will be rechecked. It will be decided at that time if I should get an x-ray to see if I have any stones.
It's
been about three and a half years since I had two stones removed from
my bladder. The lady is so surprised that this is happening after all
this time. I seem to feel well. I'm not making frequent trips to the
litter box and I don't seem to be in pain. I'm busy keeping Pierrot in
line and seeking out the best sun puddles in the house.
We're hoping for the best and refusing to worry at this point. We just wanted to share my news.
Happy St. Paddy's Day!
Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!
This is my selfie for the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop at The Cat on My Head. I used the camera timer so all my paws could be in the picture. Click on the link to see more selfies!

The lady took me to the vet yesterday. We are happy to report that I
don't have hyperthyroidism. The vet was very pleased with my health
overall. We're waiting to hear the outcome of my urine test. She, the
vet, wants to make sure I don't have diabetes and the urine PH looks
good because I have a history with stones.
The
lady was proud of me. I did really well. When we were in California and Texas, we had
cat-only vets. It makes such a difference! There isn't one close to us
here. The doggies were so loud. I growled from my carrier a lot.
Well, it's Caturday, and in true cat fashion, I plan on living it up. That means naps and snacks. I hope you have a great Caturday too!
Hi! I hope you're all having lots of naps and treats and fun this weekend. I hope you're getting love and a sun puddle or two.
The lady changed the sheets on the bed yesterday. That is always fun for me. I like to sit on the sheets, go under them and roll around for pets and a tummy rub. I got treats last night. Temptations Mix Ups. They're so yummy!
Did you set your clocks forward last night (in the U.S.)? The lady does NOT like losing an hour of sleep. She says she's going to be grouchy tomorrow having to get up early for work. That's the price you pay for not being a cat, lady.
This was yesterday. It was the last of our winter snow storms. Today is very bright and sunny but a little cold. Tomorrow it will warm up to 38F so the big guy and lady are going to spend the day outdoors in Philadelphia. They've been indoors for way too long. I love being indoors with my big window. I'm looking forward to open windows in a few months. I love fresh air and the sound of bugs and birds.
Like the title says, I'm taking it easy on this Easy Sunday.
After the lady and the camera go away, I'll be taking it easy too.
