Too Pooped?

Are you stressed from not getting enough treats, the vacuum being run, or having to supervise your inept human(s)?  I've got the answer. Curl up on a bunch of toys, preferably in a cubby hole. It's a great stress reliever!

Pierrot's Visit

Some of you may remember that when Pierrot stayed for about a month with the lady's parents, he made his way into their hearts. They were neither cat nor pet people, but now they are Pierrot people. Pierrot had been home with us for two months when the lady's parents came over a few weeks ago for a visit. When they knocked on the door, Pierrot ran for the bedroom, his first instinct when someone comes to the door. As soon as he heard their voices, he came right back out and wrapped himself around their legs and meowed and purred. This made them happy, which made the lady happy. Me? I didn't give a rat's behind. I was hiding.

I like to hide in the corner behind the recliner when people come over or when the vacuum is run, so the lady put my old pink pad back here.

Easy Sunday

Continuing our lazy theme, we're just doing Easy Sunday and no selfies. These were taken the other day. They are more examples of the lady only getting so far when changing the sheets. I tucked myself in, and of course, Pierrot had to get in on the fun.

Lazy and Lovin' It!

A few days ago, Katie Isabella talked about sleeping too much. Well, yesterday, around 3:30, the lady moved from the dining table to the recliner to finish her workday (we won't talk about her laziness that she calls a quest for comfort). I joined her. At 5:30 she and the big guy had dinner and then left for church at 6:45. Before leaving, the lady put down my food and kissed me goodbye. All this time I was still in the recliner. They got home around 8:30. I was still in the recliner and my food was untouched! She read for a while with me in the recliner and got up at 9:30 to do nightly tasks. I finally got up to eat close to 10:00. I was snoozing from 3:30 to almost 10:00! The lady isn't worried, though, except for my terminal laziness. I've got no problem with being lazy. I love it!
Paws up for laziness!

Sunday Selfies

I tucked myself into a nice loaf for my selfie. The lady thinks I look like a tugboat riding the high seas.

Pierrot wanted to go "film noir" for his selfie.

Picture Perfect

I did something very rare. I posed nicely for the lady.

I very rarely go on the bed unless the lady puts me on it. It's very low, and I used to be able to jump up, even earlier this year, but I haven't been able to for a couple of months. I'm on a new anti-inflammatory along with my ongoing twice-a-day pain meds and twice-a-month injections in hopes that I'll improve.

Once I was up here, I was very happy and even posed nicely for the lady. That's as rare as hen's teeth, so I hope she appreciated it. (She did!) I'm now off to enjoy my window.

Sunday Selfies

The lady was unpacking our recent Chewy delivery the other day and tossed this box on the floor to be taken to the recycle bin. She went back to her unpacking, turned around again, and Pierrot was in the box. She told him he just had to take his selfie there and he agreed.

I chose to take my selfie in my number one favorite spot. If you're looking for me, whether night or day, chances are very good that you'll find me right here.

We hope you're enjoying your Sunday and that it's nice and peaceful!

Oh, What a Week!

I prefer to have a week where nothing out of the ordinary happens. I like to spend the day next to the window, listening to the fountain outside and enjoying the fresh air. However, this week was anything but peaceful. Twice this week, not one but two maintenance men came into our apartment to fix our kitchen sink and dishwasher. The noise they made! They also said they're coming back. Horrors!

Here's to the best kind of weekend: quiet and uneventful!

The big guy put his ice pack on my back. I wasn't hating it.
