So I was trying to show Lucy my mouse-catching techniques. She wouldn't listen to me. She doesn't believe there are actual real mice outside. I said, "Lucy, there really are live mice outside in fields and such. Honest." She laughed and said, "They're just toys, silly." Oh well. Frankly, I'm glad I don't have to deal with mice anymore. I actually prefer these toy versions. The lady's cooked chicken tastes a lot better than mice anyway.
Well, it is true. There used to be mice outside but they is now extinct coz my sis Sydney nommed them all. Even tho she is a dog, she thinks she is a kitteh wot catches mouses.
ReplyDeleteMom says she wouldn't want us to see real mice 'cause we would have "mouse breath."

You have an experience that Lucy will never have. She is the lady, you're the tramp!
ReplyDeleteBucky you are a great teacher even if Lucy doesn't believe you! Thanx for stopping by our pawty and King was beside himself when Lucy showed up!!!
ReplyDeleteBucky, you're privileged to know about real mice, but we too prefer you indoors, dining on your mom's delish chicken. Deep dow inside Lucy knows you're being honest.
ReplyDeleteBucky you have gotten so beautiful or should I say handsome? It goes to show that tender loving care can accomplish so much. I am glad you don't have to deal with the real mice anymore too. I hope you get bites of mama's chicken.

There used to be mice outside, but we think Flynn of Eric and Flynn has eaten them all. So it's a good thing you prefer your indoor toy mousies! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBucky, my brother Nigel relates to what you are saying...play toy mice are much better. I easily gave up the real thing.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking so handsome!
I love real mice and toy mice. But toy mice are much easier to catch. FAZ
ReplyDeleteBucky, you are a smart cat. Chicken is much better than mice innards.
ReplyDeleteOne of my kitties left the head of a mouse right outside the back door one night and I stepped on it barefooted the next morning. I was not a happy camper.
Bucky, we are so happy that you don't have to eat mice anymore and that you are so well-fed by your lovely family. Lucy wouldn't want to taste a real mice...and me, I chased a mouse in the snow a few days ago and my mom just about had a fit! Lucky for the mouse I didn't capture it.
ReplyDeleteReal mousies are outside and sometimes they sneak into our house. Then mum says get 'em and I do.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom says, "Real mice? EEEEEK!!!!" She's such a wuss.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I just don't GET toy mice. They aren't funny. They don't smell like mice. They don't make mice noise and they don't TASTE like mice. Is there something wrong with me? Should I see a doctor? Tiny likes toy mice. (She likes real mice, too). She likes to play with toy mice. I don't. Maybe something IS wrong with me...please don't tell me I have to see a doctor about this...I don't like doctors. No, no, no. I'll pretend to like mice if I have to. But, ohhhh....
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Lautrec
HEHE
ReplyDeleteBucky you make me smile !!!
Silly boy ....
LUCY knows the truth :-)
Enjoy playing with the mouse
Hugs

Oh Bucky, I'm glad you don't have to get those germy mousies. Toy ones are much better until the nip is gone.
ReplyDeleteBucky you are one handsome guy! Gentle ear scritches to you and your buddies there at your house!
