First, as you know, I helped with Christmas cards. (The white mousie was no help.)
Then, I ate one of many (many) meals.
Next, I helped Mama with her work.
Please disregard the mess.
Oops. I got distracted by her vanilla yogurt.
Finally, I got to rest.
Friends, if you help around the house, be sure you get some treats out of it. I plan on hitting Mama up tonight for some.
p.s. I'm being left behind while Mama and Papa leave tomorrow for New York for a few days to see all the Christmas decorations. I don't mind since I like the cat sitter now. After all, she scoops my poops and feeds me. What's not to like?
p.p.s. Mama changed my blog thanks to some very helpful advice from Judi, Sammy and Andy's mom. She put your Christmas cards on a separate page. If you have a card that we don't have on this page, please let us know!
Bonjour dear Lucy!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is wonderful!
You are such a nice girl helping mommy Vicki there.I guess after all work you deserve a good nap.Don't worry about the weekend, I think it's better stay at home, NY should be crowded this time of the year, so much noisy people and so on!
And very cold!We can play together in our dreams!
I will be here thinking of you and Simba.

Lucy, a deserving rest after all that hard work!
ReplyDeleteI need a nap (and a treat) after reading how bizzy you woz coz it sure did make me tired and hungry even tho I just waked up and had breakfast. Great idea hasing all of your cards on a page!
ReplyDeleteWow, Lucy, you've been busy! Even the mom needs a nap, reading about your week!
ReplyDeleteOur virtual card is on our blog, the link is under the header and just under the page tabs, above the actual daily post. :-)
We hope your mom and dad have a great time! No doubt we'll see some pics, especially on one of your dad's blogs!
You are such a big help Lucy! I wish I could get my Gracie to help me, but she is not as cooperative as you are.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good helper you are my friend. :) Behave with the Sitter and I hope mom and dad have a good time :) I like your new theme :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy week! I'm sure your Mama was very thankful for your help. I'm going to miss you while your Mama and Papa are in New York. Will they be home for Christmas? I'm glad you found a sitter you like. :)
ReplyDeleteThe new look of the blog is great, give congrats to your mama! I don't know what is the best: to stay warm at home or to go to NYC..As a cat, I'd choose the first, as a human, I'd choose the second!Have all a great week-end, each in his own way!
ReplyDeleteVanilla yogurt is VERY distracting!
ReplyDeleteLucy, you need to delegate some of that work to Simba...maybe not the many meals part, but the labor parts for sure.
Your cat-sitter sounds like she's got all the bases covered...does she give you extra treats? Mommy says she would!
Sounds like you have been busy! Hope your beans have fun in NYC! Our mom used to go there every year to see the lights - now we live too far away.
ReplyDeleteHey, sweet and gorgeous Lucy!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it's a good thing your mom and dad will be gone for a few days....it sounds like you really need a few days off yourself to rest up.
ReplyDeleteYour mom did a great job of switching over to a new template. We love the new look. And of course we checked out your Christmas cards.
Love to y'all.
Wow
ReplyDeleteNew York My Mommy wants that also Lucy !!!!
And I could visit you
sooooo romantic ....... LOL
Hugs Kareltje =^.^=
Hi ya, Lucy! You sure did have a busy week. You should get a whole bag of treats for all the work you did. Maybe the cat sitter will give them to you!! Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteDoes the sitter provide yogurt also? You;'ll have to train her.
ReplyDeleteLove the new blog. You are SUCH a GOOD helper Lucy! I hope Mama and Papa have fun in NYC. I wanted to get there this Christmas season, but it's not happening. Maybe I can start hiding in their suitcase when they travel. Well, no, they'd need a BIG trunk for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like the sitter now
ReplyDeleteyou did a lot of work this week
Lucy, you are a really good cat..you still keep doing a great work. It's nearly Christmas !!!! I do nothing hee...hee...I'm lazy : )
ReplyDeleteWe hopes that your mom has a good time in New York! Your dad too! That does sound fun! We hope that your mom gave you lots and lots of treats for all that hard work that you did!
ReplyDeleteI think I should hint for more treats from my parents..thats the spirit! I think I heard my sister say that she was giving me a big present of toys, I will have to act very surprised when I tear the package open. I hope your parents have a wonderful time seeing the sights, my mom said to my dad that she wants to go to New York City one day too. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and please tell your parents that we all wish the same to them. P.S. You sure do have a great caretaker...
ReplyDeleteGreetings Lucy,
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see that you helped out with the Christmas cards. Dad here has been behind and I hope he gets ours done before Christmas is over.
So you like having a sitter, well I hope you get treats and a lot of them.
Thank you for sharing.
Warmest regards this holiday season,
Miss Kitty and Egmont
