Monday Morning

Well, it's the start of another work week (for Mama, not me).  I had a good weekend.  I helped with making the bed, got a little tuna (Mama was using it to bribe Simba to take his medicine), got lots of pets, soaked up the sun on my patio, played with my dragonfly and took lots of naps.

Simba has been having lots of trouble with the antibiotics he's been taking for his infection.  The first batch made him have yucky poopies.  The second batch made him have yucky poopies and not want to eat.  Now, he will probably have to go the vet for an injection that may or may not work.  All these antibiotics are costing hundreds of dollars.

I am perkier than I was.  Mama is still working on my diet (darn it anyway).

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!  Did you do anything fun?

  2. Hi Lucy,
You look so comfy on that lovely quilt. I'm sorry that Simba has not been feeling well.
I had a quiet weekend other than going to the groomer's. I'm a lot cooler 'cause I got a short hair cut!
    Luv, Lucy (Woof!)

  9. Lucy, it sounds like you had a nice weekend. We did absolutely nothing. Our Mama has a granddaughter visiting for three weeks. She gets all the attention. We are pretty sad.
Mama said you are laying on a pretty quilt.
We hope simba will do better with his medicines.

We send our purrs and lovey hugs to you and Simba.

  10. Way cool Lucy, sounds like you had a great time all weekend. I do hope Simba is feeling better, poor fella. You guys are lucky to have such devoted parents. I do too, I am really spoiled. Today is kinda yucky so I am just laying in my chair watching the cars go by. I am waiting for the UPS truck to go by so I can bark my head off over it. It drives my mom nuts-haha! Take care of Simba and tell your mom my mom said hi!
