Happy Saturday
Last night I was duly poked, prodded, felt, squeezed and stuck. Yes, I went to the vet and so did Simba. I'm trying to forget the horrors by spending time on my balcony watching the birdies and squirrels. The vet said she'll call Mama next week if there is an issue with our blood tests. She said she felt a nodule on my throat and my heart was beating fast so she wonders if I have a thyroid issue. Simba and I have always been healthy as hogs, so Mama is hoping that all is well. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy this fresh air. Enjoy your Saturday, friends!

ReplyDeleteLucy and Simba, we are purring that you will both get reports back that say everything is A-OK....have a wonderful Caturday. xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh, the horrors and the traumas! The least the V-E-T can do is tell you efurrything be OK for your trubulls. But they make you wate... I has to go along with Dixie for her recheck next week coz mom wants the dentist V-E-T to look at my toof. I yipped when she brushed my teef and it looks like a toof is brokened off. Senior age is such a bummer.
ReplyDeleteChestnut had a visit also this week, he has a microb or something like that(I don't know to say it in english) . All I can say is that he was VERY HAPPY to go back home!So we perfectly understand when you speak about drama and horror..Now it's over, let's all enjoy the week-end! Hugs from Nice
ReplyDeleteWell I am glad that the Dr's appt. is over. I hope blood work doesn't come up with anything but good news.
ReplyDeletePeanut and Marshmellow sends kisses and purrs, to Lucy and Simba. guess who sends the most kisses and purrs to Lucy. Of course that would be Peanut.
oh sweetie, what a day...You need now many coddles, treats and snuggles..and naps, and purrs...I'm sending you love and good energies!
ReplyDeleteEverything will be fine, don't worry okay.
Love you
LUna
Yikes, the vet! We hope the blood work comes back okay. Annie is hyper-t, was diagnosed last September, so if it turns out you are as well and your mom wants to ask any questions, she can email me.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I took Annie in this AM for her blood work, because her meds run out next week. I've always taken her on a week day, taking time off from work (vacation time), but thought this time I could avoid having to do that. There's only one tech on duty and a couple of receptionists, one of whom has to stay out front for the clients. Well, Annie is not good at the best of times, which we all know, but I had NO idea they needed more than 2 people to hold her down. She was in forever and I could hear her making god-awful sounds, and finally Ashley came out and asked me to NOT bring her on a Saturday again, as there just aren't enough people on staff. That during the week they'd have the 3-4 people needed. I was *so* embarrassed and apologetic. I knew she was bad, but figured it took only a couple of people to manage her. Apparently not. At least she didn't bite anyone.
So, Lucy, if you don't need 3-4 to hold you down, you're doing well! ;-D
We hope you enjoy your Saturday too and all your tests come back with good news. FAZ
ReplyDeleteI hope the results are good for both.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to bring my kitties to the vet, too. And I am glad both of them are getting along.
OH gosh, I hope your blood work comes back OK. We hate going to the vet, but we are so scared that we usually behave. Good luck to you and we will be waiting an update.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week end.
Purring for all will be well for you, pretty Lucy.
ReplyDeleteHi guys. No, Annie has no other problems as yet, unless the blood work comes back with something, will find out this week. BTW, she was asymptomatic and the only way we found out she was hyper-t was via routine senior blood work.
ReplyDeleteI'm crossing my fingers Lucy will be fine.
The first time I took Nicki in for a check after adopting him the vet told me she felt a nodule on this thyroid too...but no other vet has found anything. So in Lucy's case it could be nothing, be an error, etc.
Good luck!
Hi Lucy! Aren't you glad all that poking and squeezing stuff is over?? We hope everything checks out okay for you!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to be poked and prodded and stuffs! Hope the tests all come back fine for you. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteGlad that you survived the visit to the v-e-t and we're purring that they have nothing but good news for you and Simba.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Charlemagne and Tamar
Hi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I don't like the v-e-t either. I am crossing my paws that you and Simba's tests are all A-OK.
Enjoy your day.
Luv, Lucy (Woof!)
