Stay off the Grass
Look what the Lady grew for me. Cat grass!
She put it near the window because I hang out there a lot watching the birdies.
The problem is I pull the entire grass and dirt out of the little pot. The Lady finds it lying on its side several times a day with dirt everywhere. She's not thrilled about that.
First it's orange fur she doesn't want and now it's dirt.
MOL! I get a little carried away with cat grass too!

Maybe your human can put the little container into a slightly larger and deeper one that will stop you from doing that. Because you don't want to kill that yummy grass! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnni loves her grass too. When I lived in NYC I would buy some for her at the Union Square Farmer's Market. They would grow it in such a way that it did not pull out. But here I buy it for her at the health food store and she pulls it out like that too!
ReplyDeleteOh Annie Bear, I wonder how that happens?? Must be an introoder mol xx
ReplyDeleteMaybe you just need some orange and brown carpet!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a little cutie orange Annie Bear! Mommy puts more soil when she plants our cat grass to sort of weigh it down. So we DIG out the soil! MOL.
ReplyDeletethat happened to us when I tried to grow some for The Crew
ReplyDeleteMOL!!!! I hope you got some nommy grass!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, that is exactly what we do with the grass the mom grew for us. She won't give us anymore because we made a big mess. She's a meanie!
ReplyDeleteYou yanked out the whole bunch, Annie Bear, and made our human smile! Unfortunately our human tried to grow some for us but all died on germination.
ReplyDeleteMy cats were always doing that. I solved it by taking clippings of the grass for them. The clippings look a lot like chopped chives. The cats scarf the clippings down and beg for more. The grass container needs to be kept in a safe sunny place to grow in peace :)
ReplyDeleteOrange fur is beautiful, the dirt? I'm not sure about that. You are certainly enjoying the grass. Hey maybe you could learn to hide the dirt under the throw rug before mom see's it. That's what my kids used to do many years ago.
