Last night I was hanging out with Ratsie. Mama got him for me about a year ago when we first moved here to Pennsylvania from Texas. I flew on an airplane and stayed in a hotel. She promised me that once we were settled, she would get me a Plauge Ratise. Now that it's been over year, his wonderful scent* has faded, but he still has a fun tail to chew and his body is perfect for bunny kicking.
*Editor's note: That "wonderful scent" really smelled like old feet.
We're happy that you love your ratsie!!! You are looking as lovely as ever! And ya know what??? Keep watch for the man in blue...he just may be coming to your house today! AND, King put a special surprise in there just for you! Plus a couple other things as well...Have a happy weekend pretty lady!

ReplyDeleteAhhh, "Old Feet"...that's the Valerian root in Mister Ratsie! We love our ratsie, too, but we've chewed his tail off. We need a new one!
ReplyDeleteYour ratsie and you have gone through great adventures together!that makes a great friendship!
ReplyDeleteI'll be away for two weeks, so be wise and enjoy your life! hugs!
We has ratsies fur out kittehs and even as a dog, I must say, PEWIE, they is stinky!
ReplyDeleteLOL...smells like old feet LOL Mama seems to stick her nose in odd places LOL :) How fun and you look like you are having fun Lucy :) Thanks for sharing the 9/11. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteAw Lucy Baby...you come over her and your Mancat Lautrec will hunt down a real live mousie for you so that you. OK? Either that or I will wait until Tiny catches one and I will steal it from her to give to you. Poor Ratsie has seen better days, but if you really want him to stink as good as he did when you got him, tell your Momma to put a bit of Valerian extract/oil/plant on him and he should be all good and stinky and lovely to your nose right away!! Purrs, your mancat Lolo
ReplyDeleteGreetings Miss Lucy,
ReplyDeleteYou look real cool, especially on the bed, since that is one of my favorite places in the house, especially at night.
Daddy has not seen a Ratsie in any of the pet stores, looks like a real neat toy. I'll just have to tell him to go and have another look.
Guess there is no cat nip inside as it smells like old feet.
Wishing you a great weekend,
Miss Kitty
I can see Ratsie is well loved.
