The lady was about to make the bed yesterday. As soon as she put the sheets on the bed, I made a nest. She let me enjoy my cloud and made the bed much later.

1. The first think I check when I go online is Blogger and/or Google+.
2. My signature dish is lasagna. I've been making this since we were first married (29 years ago!). I used to make it every year for my husband's (aka the big guy) birthday.
3. My Halloween night is usually spent at home watching a movie and hoping to hand out some candy.
4. Trick-or-treaters never come to our house (unfortunately). I buy candy ever year and we always start eating it a week or two before, but I always make sure we have plenty to hand out just in case.

 1. One Halloween, I dressed as a black cat. I wore a black leotard. My mom made the ears, whiskers and tail. I was in the 5th grade.
2. My favorite comedian is Lucille Ball.
3. My scariest Halloween was when I saw my first horror movie, Halloween 2, when I was 15 or 16. I never watched horror movies. I remember walking out of the theater into the lobby for a breather and could hear everyone screaming in the theater. It was scary!
4. Snickers are my favorite Halloween treats (but I eat them year round).

Thankful Thursday

I was just spending my day like I usually do: searching for the best sun puddles, looking out the window, lying on top of my toys and taking naps. Then, without warning, two loud men were in my house for several hours. Our hot water heater had been leaking and they were here to replace it.

We are very thankful that the big guy saw that it was leaking and caught it in time. I am now all the more grateful for my peaceful life.
