I Love a Good Box

I always hear about the delivery person bringing fun packages to some of my blogging friends.  It's pretty rare that I get a package (actually, it's a cold day in July before I get mail).  Well, the other day I got one (and it's a hot day in August)!  This wonderful box came from Amazon.  Strangely, it had some weird-looking things in it, but as soon as Papa removed them, he gave me my very own box.

 

 A box makes a good chin scratcher too.

I highly recommend getting a box.  They're very fun to sit in, and the younger kitties like to play in them too.  I can personally attest that Amazon is a great place to get a box, but I've heard there are many other places to get boxes too (Mama says she'd like to get me a box from Saks Fifth Avenue but said I best not hold my breath).

Hooray for Friday!

Mama has been working some long hours lately.  I pretty much sleep all day with a few eating interludes, but I like to play in the evening. The great thing about Mama is that she almost always plays with me in the evening no matter how late it is or how tired she is.  I'm playing with Ratsie's tail in the above picture.

It's a Great Life Thursday

Hi there.  Friends, it doesn't get much better than this.  Papa vacuumed today.  Normally, my double-decker bed is on the floor, but he put it up on the bed so he could vacuum.  When I was done hiding from the loud, hideous vacuum beast, I hopped up into my triple-decker bed and haven't left since.  I highly recommend this.

Whenever I come in from being out in the hot sun all day, I stretch out and cool off.  I'm a lioness, tired from hunting all day.

Just kidding.  I'm just waiting on Mama to open my can of stinky goodness.

Hi Friends,
I’ve missed you so much! Mama has been working a lot more than usual and hasn’t had time to help me with my blog. On top of that, she had the nerve to tell me that maybe if I did more than lie in my bed or her bed, I’d have more interesting pictures. Hmph. Maybe if she did something more interesting than work all the time, she could have her own blog.

Well, this weekend Mama and Papa went into Philadelphia to see a Renoir exhibit. Of course, I stayed home and enjoyed some me time. I also enjoyed some clean sheets after laundry time, sunshine on my patio and stealing some of Simba’s food. I’m not boring; I just enjoy the simple pleasures.
