Thankful Friday

I’m sorry we missed Thankful Thursday because today we have a lot for which to be thankful. We had some heavy rain a few weeks ago and it caused damage to our ceiling. The apartment management asked us to stay in a hotel for three days this week so they could put in a new ceiling. That meant I had to be boarded and Pierrot had to go to his Mammy & Pappy’s house. He’s still there. Pappy wants him for as long as possible. I said, “Sure! You can have him until the turn of the next century.” Of course, nobody listened. Well, we got home yesterday afternoon, and we’re all very happy to be home. The lady snapped this picture of me through the glass when she went to pick me up. I didn't even know she was there. 

I was dreaming of home sweet home.

    LOL @ not knowing your mom was there! Is Pierrot going to stay with your Pappy and Mammy or will he come home too?

    BTW, we're glad the ceiling got fixed before Christmas and hope your humans didn't have to pay for the hotel bill!

    I'm glad you're home. That photo makes it look like you were boarded someplace where you couldn't even stand up! I know that's not true, the photo just looks funny. I'm glad you were content at your boarding place.
