1. My favorite spice or herb is cinnamon. I love snickerdoodle cookies, cinnamon toast, cinnamon on apple sauce and just about anything with cinnamon.
2. An herb/spice I dislike is cumin. Well, I don't really dislike the taste once it's cooked but the smell while it's cooking reminds me of body odor.
3. Lately, I have been working on a crochet blanket project that will most likely never be complete, especially at the rate I'm going.
4. This winter was mild!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, you always have great answers. I am impressed that you are crocheting a blanket, I get too impatient to finish so I only do small things like the cat toys. MY rows are always off too so one side would be wider than the other :) Snowball is happy to see a photo with her sweet Pierrot. Have a nice weekend!

I was wondering if anyone would notice that! Somehow, I knew it would be you guys.❤
DeleteCinnamon! Yes, I too LOVE cinnamon - Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie! :)
ReplyDeleteFinally someone else has the same smell impression of cumin as I do - I have to hold my breath when adding it to a recipe, because it's nasty smelling! And thank you for pinpointing 'what' it smells like - it does smell like B.O.!! :)
Have a great weekend!
We enjoyed your answers and we enjoyed seeing you pretty Annie!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I'm the MASTER of starting projects ... most that never get finished. If a project takes longer than an hour or two, it won't get done. We love the pictures of you, Annie, and Pierrot ... so beautiful/handsome.
ReplyDeleteI like cinnamon, too. Cumin? I had to laugh! I never thought of that. I like it, though...perhaps just the taste. I admire your ability to crochet. I never learned. Sadly. I hope the mild Winter does not lead to a hot Summer. Have a great weekend! Hugs!
ReplyDeletePierrot! Are you gonna eat all that yourself or share some with Annie???
ReplyDeletePierrot, Did you notice the sun puddle on your butt ? It's love heart !
ReplyDeleteCinnamon is good for helping diabetics lower their insulin resistance. I once got carded at Walmart when I wanted to buy cinnamon. I don't know what was going on there. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCinnamon is great. I like the cinnamon-y foods that you mentioned, too.
ReplyDeleteI take a long time to knit or crochet things, too. Good luck to you with completing your project. Sometimes we surprise ourselves and finish something. :)
Have a blessed weekend!
Ya'll look just purrecious. We don't think we've ever used cumin, but we fur sure don't wanna. BO is just pawful. Ya'll have a pawsum weekend. Big hugs
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'

We always love to read the friendly fill-ins. The Staff likes cinnamon too! Miss Annie are you looking at the heart on Pierrot's hiney? MOL ❤❤❤
ReplyDeleteHere are our fill in answers:
ReplyDelete1. Garlic is my favorite!
2. I don't like herbs/spices that are spicy (hot)!
3. Same as you!!!
4. Same as you!!!
Eu tenho uma amiga que diz o mesmo que você, sobre o cominho. hihi
ReplyDeleteHello there, Annie and Pierrot! As always, your fill-ins are fantastic. I love the taste of cinnamon (my mouth is watering at the thought of cinnamon rolls), but I always have to be careful how much I use when baking, as the smell of it gives not only myself but pretty much everyone in my family a headache. And I love that you're crocheting a blanket. My sister taught herself to knit and crochet, but I don't think I'd ever have the patience to take on a project like that. Kudos to you!
