Easy Like a Sunday Morning
Hi Friends,
I'm easing into my Easy Sunday. It's been a long, cold week, but it has finally warmed up this weekend. On top of the cold weather, we also had icy freezing rain and two people slipped on ice right outside our building. One was the Big Guy last Sunday. He was knocked out cold. He's slowly doing better. The other happened Friday night. It was our neighbor. The Big Guy heard her outside crying. The lady (my lady) was sleeping but ran out and helped her. The neighbor was taking her doggie out and fell on her knee. The lady helped her back in her apartment, stayed with her a while and then took her doggie out to pee. When she came back in, I was waiting for her and we went back to bed, me on top of the warm electric blanket, happy my lady was back. I'm not used to her going out in the middle of the night.

ReplyDeleteOh, gees, Annie, those falls sound awful, we hope your Big Guy and the neighour are doing okay now, only bruising, nothing seriously damaged. It's pretty dangerous here too, we hear from our human.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your comfy, warm, SAFE easy Sunday!
Oh MY! MY thanks to YOUR lady for helping that poor woman who fell. Bless her and your mom.
ReplyDeleteThat is so kind of your Lady to help your neighbor and her doggie. Bless.
ReplyDeleteWe're so so glad the Big Guy is doing better. Please please be careful when going outside. It sounds very dangerous.
Oh no! I am glad there isn't ice here, otherwise I'd probably be very bruised. Very nice of your lady to help that neighbor lady like that.
ReplyDeleteOh yes... Mother Nature turned our driveway into a skatin' rink, too. Then, just before my two pairs of size zero ice skates arrived, it all melted and turned into a swimmin' pool. Then, just before my pair of size zero flippers arrived, the winds came and blew everythin' away. Now we're just left with puddles. MOUSES!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
That sounds like a dangerous walk outside. We hope the Big Guy is OK. It was really nice of your Lady to help the neighbor and even take her doggie for a walk like that. Great neighbors like your Lady are hard to find.
ReplyDeleteWe hope all that ice is gone now. And that the Big Guy and the neighbor lady are okay.
