Happy New Year!

We wish you a safe, peaceful, healthy, treat-filled, happy, blessed New Year.

This evening, we will be cozy at home. The lady will make a lasagna for them and I'll have my usual Fancy Feast along with some treats hopefully. 

We treasure our blogging friends. We had a lot of sadness this year, but we have so much to be thankful for and this was a blessed year.

Thanks for being with us in 2013. We hope 2014 will be a good one for us all!

EZ Sunday

Hi! The lady and I are hanging out in the easy chair. She's got a cold and I'm keeping her company. She only had her phone so that's the reason for the terrible picture quality.  

She shared her vanilla yogurt with me. She's a swell lady.

Boxing Day and Thankful Thursday

Our sweet Grammy and Pappy sent us a package from California with all kinds of goodies. I just knew there would be something in there for me too.

We wanted to share just the cat related items since, this being a cat blog, those are the most interesting (although the lady insists the chocolate is pretty interesting too).

We are so blessed to have family that sent us such thoughtful gifts at Christmastime.

Next Thursday, I will share the gift my peeps got me. I'm so excited about it!

Easy Sunday

It's warmed up quite a bit this weekend to the 60s, so the peeps were out yesterday. Today, it's supposed to rain all day. I love sitting in front of the window watching the world go by. 

We are going to have a quiet Christmas (the best kind in my opinion). I heard there's going to be a ham. You can bet I will be monitoring that closely.

Chewy.com Review - Natural Balance Cat Food and Treats

This cute gift box was delivered the other day from chewy.com. It contains three Natural Balance items for Annie to try and review and a 50 cent off coupon.

First, Annie tried the turkey and giblets canned food for breakfast. I held small hope that she would like it since it’s not fish flavored. I was so surprised that she loved it! I am counting her calories because she really needs to lose some weight. The 3 oz can has 100 calories, which is approximately 20 more calories than her usual Fancy Feast. Meat and meat broth make up the first four ingredients. Brown rice is the grain.

The next item she tried is the Platefulls Turkey Chicken & Duck Formula in Gravy. She had the opportunity a few months ago to review this as well. She loved it then and she loves it now. She’s been known to love something the first time and then after I excitedly buy a bunch, decides to snub thereafter. This was a great chance to find out that she really does love this food. This food is grain free.

Lastly, she got the treats, Perfect Bites Salmon Formula. They are one calorie each and salmon is the first ingredient. It’s a rare treat that Annie snubs. She loves these treats but I’m careful to give her just a few. Her love of treats (and other food) is a big reason she’s now on a diet.

Easy Like a Sunday Morning

Yesterday, we had snow and then freezing rain last night. The lady washed the flannel sheets and then threw them on the bed to make later. I burrowed under the sheets for hours. This is me:

Easy Sunday

I've been tucking in earlier than usual lately. I can't help it. The bed is so comfy, the blankies so soft and warm. Twice just recently I've ventured higher on the bed near the lady to curl up and to make her very happy. Of course, once the lights go out, I head back down to the lowest corner possible.

Last night's coziness

Since today is Sunday, it means the peeps will be at church, then lunch and then doing the shopping for the week. That means peace and quiet for me until they come home and start on their noisy chores. They're good to me so I put up with them (truth be told, I love when they come home).

I love sitting in this chair and looking out at the trees. The other day the Big Guy took this funny picture of me, but what's worse is the lady is in the background with her blinding pink sweatshirt. Ugh.
