Earlier this month, I had to be boarded. The lady sent Dawn, the lady that is in charge of the boarded kitties, emails checking on me. Dawn said to me, “Annie, your mom is asking about you. I’m going tell her how much you love to eat!” “Great,” I said to myself. “Now the lady is going to give me even less treats.” When the lady went to pick me up, Dawn reiterated how much I love to eat. Darn her! Really, she is the kindest, gentlest, loveliest person, but she’s too honest. On top of that, the lady insisted Dawn weigh me to compare my weight to when I arrived. I gained six ounces while there. Darn again!
We haven’t written an update on my back. For the last several months, I haven't taken any pain medication. I show no symptoms of being in pain. My back legs still give out but that isn’t painful. I also still have the litter box issues that are connected with my back, but we accept that. My not being in pain outshines everything else.
We love to eat too, Annie! There's no shame in that. :-)
