I should have worn my sunglasses! |
Do any of you kitties out there--maybe senior kitties since I'm 13--claim a spot and rarely leave it? For the longest time my spot was on the mat in front of the sliding glass door. The last few months my spot has been the bed in the guest bedroom. The lady marvels that I rarely leave it. Well, excuse me, but I do leave it to eat and go to the bathroom. Now, if she fed me there, then I'd only need to leave for the litter box.
The lady has some things to attend to so we may not be able to post or visit after this week for about two weeks.
Sun stripes look good on you. I can sleep in one spot for a loonnnngg time too.
ReplyDeleteWe can see how much you enjoyed the sunshine, and maybe that catnip kickeroo too. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe definitely can sleep in one spot for ages, and like you, where we prefer to sleep alters.
Take care, we hope all goes well for your human mom.
We'll be on the lookout for your return sweet Annie. Hey, sometimes us seniors are not overly active unless there's a really good reason.
ReplyDeleteBoodie is 17 and has her spot on the dining room table. Binga doesn't have a spot. As far as she's concerned, the whole house belongs to her, and we are just borrowing it occasionally... and we are lucky she's so, um, "gracious" about it! MOL
ReplyDeleteYes, Lexy and I switch spots every now and then. It's fun to see the world from a different perspective. We'll miss you and Pierrot! Oh, and we miss you in Instagram, but we understand.
ReplyDeleteAnnie, I’ve been spending most my time in my hammick next to the heat vent. Sometimes the mom will even feed me there! ~Wally
ReplyDeleteYeah! My cats are also have their favorite spots, they're changing them from time to time. They totally love when I move their pillows and blankets on different places. It's like discovering a new land for them, haha!
ReplyDeleteI've recently moved a wicker box to trash it (because no one has been using it since I can remember) and now they've realized it's the best spot ever!!
Most of my cats are over 13 and they seem to do that too. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my yes my seniors all find spots and don't move all day until the tummy meter goes off and they want food! Annie you look gorgeous in your sun stripes.

We envy your sun! I'm with your Mom, Annie. I always notice when Bear changes spots. Just recently, he's taken to laying on the back of the couch. Wherever the warm is, I guess.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm the only kitty in the house, every spot is my spot. I have several spots I use depending on the time of day. Sometimes I find a new spot (to the consternation of my Mom & Dad who are trying to find me).
