Easy Sunday
I want to tell you about the fun I had yesterday. A moth was in the house. I ruthlessly stalked it over the course of several hours. The lady is always astonished by my murdering-for-sport pursuits. She doesn't understand how I can normally be so sweet and gentle and yet so merciless when it comes to bugs (and one hapless lizard in Texas). It was the highlight of my week!
The highlight of Pierrot's week was finding another comfortable pillow. Remotes, laptop batteries, speakers all make the best pillows according to Pierrot.

Annie! I persued a leaf hopper! Relentlessly! He tricked me though by getting on the ceiling!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Annie! Your hunting skills will keep your family safe, that's for sure. And Pierrot, we're glad you found the purrfect napping place.
ReplyDeleteYou two look so wonderful and hooray for moth madness!
ReplyDeleteYes, moths keep us entertained and in shape. Somehow our human couldn't figure out what Pierrot used as pillow! Purrs from us!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, you lucky girl! A moth in the house! Wow! We had a big one in our house early in the AM a couple of weeks ago, but you know what our human did? She caught it in a container and set it free outside! Can you imagine that?!?!
ReplyDeletePierrot, you look especially comfy there, though we're not sure about a remote....
How cool Annie !!! You had a lot of fun !!!Hehehe...
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the Pierrot pillow !!!!
Have a great Sunday !!!
A meow of Bilbo
Our moms tend to be totally squeamish. They just don't get out ferocious need to hunt stuff.
ReplyDeleteHunting is fun! I've never killed anything though, except for a couple of small flies I caught and ate.
ReplyDeleteDid you get that moth, Annie? They can be so tricky. Pierrot cracks us up. He'll sleep anywhere, won't he??
ReplyDeleteGood job hunting Annie. And that doesn't look very comfy Pierrot.

Annie, I am OFFICIALLY in love! A girl kitty after my own heart! I love killing bugs and moths, wish I could join you in your fun! Love, Cody xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteIck! I tasted a moth a couple weeks ago and it was awful.
ReplyDeleteBear loves a good moth too. The last one he caught ... paraded around in his mouth ... dropped while mewing for me to look ... then caught again. I finally took it away from him. I have no idea how he managed to catch it once ... much less another 4 or 5 times. Around here, they usually stay near the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteSo, did you actually kill it, or just stalk it for a few hours for fun
ReplyDeleteAnnie, I love to murder moths for sport, too! You know what else? I love using remotes as pillows. We all have so much in common! Purrs, Evan
ReplyDeleteWe hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, our angel Zoe was a good moth hunter, too! And like Pierrot, Gracie can nap at will. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your thoughtful condolences about our sweet baby Zoe's passing. Your kindness is a great comfort to us, and we are so grateful for you.
