Easy Sunday

I know I'm on the bed a lot in my pictures, but it's a place where I'll cooperate, somewhat, with having my picture taken. Whenever the lady or big guy go in the bedroom, I follow them in there and jump on the bed because I know I'll get petting and attention. I love it.

This was an uneventful week. I was miffed at the lady for missing Meow Like a Pirate Day. We've been posting on that day ever since I came to live here. She should have put a reminder in her calendar. I'm a kitty. I can't be relied upon to keep her on task except for my meals.

I wonder if I could ship Pierrot somewhere...

Easy Sunday

I want to tell you about the fun I had yesterday. A moth was in the house. I ruthlessly stalked it over the course of several hours. The lady is always astonished by my murdering-for-sport pursuits. She doesn't understand how I can normally be so sweet and gentle and yet so merciless when it comes to bugs (and one hapless lizard in Texas).  It was the highlight of my week!

The highlight of Pierrot's week was finding another comfortable pillow. Remotes, laptop batteries, speakers all make the best pillows according to Pierrot.

Praying for FL

Hello, friends. Florida is very much on our minds and hearts. We are praying. We really want people and animals to be safe.

I'm watching the big guy do some chores. 

The big guy needed a place for his lens cap and Pierrot was happy to help.

Flashback Friday and Friendly Fill-Ins

This picture is exactly six years ago. I was five. I had just moved in with the lady and big guy.

We haven't participated in Friendly Fill-Ins in quite some time. The lady needs time to think and her work has been using up all her thinking capacity. I decided to give her break and took two of these fill-ins, numbers one and four.

1. My favorite fictional character is Garfield. What's not to love? He's orange, stripey, lazy and loves to eat! That's my kind of kitty!

2. A new TV show or film I am looking forward to this fall is _________.  I tried to find a movie coming out that I'd like to see and I couldn't find one I'm interested in. I'll look forward to reading others' answers. I'm sure I'm missing something really good.

3. One of my very favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird. Only one?  I can change my mind every few minutes on my favorite book, but I remember reading this and realizing how special this book is.

4. The best time to curl up with the lady is in the evening while she's in the recliner reading or watching TV (but sometimes I lie down on the floor instead).
