The Week of 8/21

Well, it's been another busy work week for the lady. Since I didn't post at all last week thanks to her, I thought I'd journal my week here:
  • I beat a fly twice with my paw and then ate it. The lady marvels at how I'm normally so gentle and sweet but ruthless when it comes to bugs.
  • Pierrot and I supervised the gardeners. Pierrot ended up falling asleep, but I didn't. I was vigilant the whole time. You never know when you may need to run for your life.
  • The lady made a big deal out of the eclipse, watching it on TV (we weren't in a good part of the country for viewing). We disappointed her by sleeping through it.
  • I ate grass every day.
  • I had no treats. I'm overdue and would like double portions!
  • I received combings every night and purred and purred.

Yo! Pierrot here. I did stuff too! I watched birds and yelled at the lady to let me in, to let me out, to let me in, to let me out. I heard the big guy tell her that I have her trained.

  1. Hahahaha! You two crack me up. Great week's report, Annie. My Annie was a superb fly killer too, but the boys? Pfffttt. Useless in that regard. Don't tell them I said so, or they might puke up more grass to get back at me. BTW, did you "re-gift" yours too? If not, and you want pointers, check in with Derry.

Pierrot, your weekly summary is about the same as N &D's. Except for the lack of grass-barfing, of course. :-D

  4. I'm a great fly catcher (and eater) too! They are the only things I catch and eat. Everything else - mice, and other bugs - I am gentle with.

  6. Assim como a tua mãe eu também fui bem treinada para abrir e fechar portas, os gatos são bons adestradores. Hihi

  14. WHAT?!?!?! NO TREATS?!?!? You two should come over to our house ... Momma's giving away copious treats in the hope we'll forgive her for having two cats. That's my favorite picture of Pierrot. That handsome boy has some Zen going on with his mousie. It's hard to believe sweet Annie would ferociously hunt a fly ... maybe she's a secret super hero?

  15. Sounds like you had a fantastic week. Must be bug week - I killed a moth (didn't eat it, it tasted gross), and chased a spider.
