Friendly Fill-Ins

Rearranging toys and taking inventory

We're joining Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. Please feel free to join!

1. The most interesting museum I have been to is The Louvre in Paris. I also think The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Philadelphia Museum of Art are very interesting. This was a hard one for me because I love museums and have been to many in both Eurpoe and the United States. There are so many really interesting museums!

2. The most interesting historical place I have been to is Rome. There are many excavations throughout the city that reveal ancient ruins. Philadelphia, which is just an hour away, is a very historical city. Also, not very far from us is the Delaware River. They do reenactments of George Washington's crossing of the Delaware every year on Christmas morning. We went one year. It was really wonderful.

3. Ice cream is back! Now that the weather is warming up, I love to eat ice cream!

4. I was surprised that Annie went out on our balcony. Pierrot has been going out with us quite a bit just recently. He loves it! Annie is unsure. She only goes out for a very short time and only when we stay in. I watch her through the screen just to be sure she's safe. It's funny how she only feels comfortable when we're not out there.

  1. That is a lot of interesting toys! Nice that Annie and Pierrot get some supervised outside time. Our Z Cat loved her outside time with us and wasn't happy when she had to come in... :)
    Good Morning!

  2. Great answers! You are lucky to have been to Europe and so many museums. That is funny that Annie only goes out without you. She looks cute with all the toys. Have a great weekend!

  3. I was going to do the fill ins and I can't think of a museum I don't find as superb...the best and one I would live in if I could. I love them all! I've been everywhere too. We, you and I have been most fortunate in that.

  5. It's always funny when our cats spontaneously do something they've always refused to do. Kitty ignored mice until she was nine ... then all of a sudden, she started picking mice off right and left. I joke that either she caught a mouse in her food and that was it ... or maybe she was just biding her time until all the mice were fat and complacent :) That's a pretty nifty sunpuddle you've got there, Annie ... sun and toys ... what could be better?

  7. Does ice cream go away in the winter? So many wonderful museums all around the world. The crossing the Delaware reenactment sounds really cool. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  9. Museums are great. M really enjoyed one in Rome, Italy. That entire city is so full of history - everywhere you looked. He head got sore from all hte back and forth looking - she couldn't do it fast enough to keep up with everything.

  10. Oh, I love that picture. How adorable! You have been to some amazing historical places. Wow. That is really awesome. I would like to visit the Vatican.
Annie sounds so sweet. We used to have a cat, Sam, who would go out in our back yard ONLY with us. She was a tuxedo character, living almost 20 years. We miss her still HUGS.

  12. It is funny. People around here buy more ice cream when it is cold than they do when it gets hotter. I guess that is the only way to keep it from melting on the way to the car. When we worked at the convenience stores, we noticed that very few people around here buy ice cream in the summer. Here it is a winter treat.

  13. Maybe Annie is afraid that she'll get bumped off the balcony if others are out there with her. Not bumped on purpose, of course, but accidents happen. I'm glad that she is venturing out and that the kitties get to have some outside time.

    Have a blessed weekend. :)

  14. Look at you, beautiful Annie, surrounded by sun and toys. Doesn't get much better than that! And your fill-ins are fantastic, as always. Rome sounds like such a beautiful place to visit. And, of course, we are also so very happy that it's ice cream season.

  15. Looks like you really like crochet toys. It's good to take inventory from time to time just to make sure nothing is missing.
