The lady he still hasn't been able to find a pet sitter that she feels she can completely trust so we are being boarded. She's packing some of our favorite things to go with us. What would you take if you were going to be boarded?

ReplyDeletethings that smell like you, things that smell like your people. rescue remedy, the right food, some of your clean but previously used litter so that smells like you too... your litter box if you can..

We're lucky - we have an awesome pet sitter! Binga and Boodie (and Sparkle) had to be boarded once, when the old house was being tented for termites. Sparkle and Boodie enjoyed it - Binga, not so much!

ReplyDeleteBeing boarded sounds frightening, but you will have each other, right? We hope your humans have a good vacation and that the time goes by quickly for you so that you are back home with them before you know it.
ReplyDeleteWe've never been boarded before but we would think you would want any of your favorite toys and maybe your bed and blanket. We hope all goes well for you two. And that your humans have a nice time. Will they be able to check up on you to make sure you're doing okay?
ReplyDeleteYou poor kitties, I wish I lived near you, I would pet sit for free. Did your Mom ask at the vet? A lot of vet techs and people that work at our vet do that on the side. I think you should bring something of your mom's so you can have her scent. Good Luck! XO And I hope they have a nice trip--and bring you back some stuff.
ReplyDeleteOh No, boarded? Wish we lived closer, mommy would gladly look after ya'll. We always go with mommy so we've never been to a boarder but we s'pose you'd need da same things. Fave noms, litter, toys, bedding, fur sure somethin' of da humans, ya' know a shirt or towel with their scent all over it. Good luck and we sure hope you all have a good time.
