The Horror

Friends, I had to recover from the horror that occurred on Saturday. Our dishwasher broke a few weeks ago. The new one was installed yesterday. This required a stranger in my home, using loud tools, talking and walking around (looking for me). I hid in the lady's closet the entire time. The lady checked on me frequently, and I heard her comment to the big guy that I looked terrified and never relaxed. How am I to relax when there's a cat murderer in our house??

I finally relaxed at bedtime on my pink pad with lots of tummy rubs from the lady.

  1. Oh, Annie, I'm sure glad that closet was handy to keep you safe and sound. My furbabies prefer the safety beneath my bed when those strange cat murderers come around. Well, Annie, I'm at least glad that your humans have a working dishwasher again, and that you got some much deserved tummy rubs afterwards. Purrs to you, Pierrot, and your humans!

  9. That's too bad you didn't like the stranger in the house! Binga and I actually like to entertain company, but Boodie is more like you... although if the worker or other human is around for more than a day or two, she comes out too.

  10. Oh Annie. That musta been terrible. We don't like when strange worker guys come in to our house either. We usually hide under the bed.

  11. Oh, I am so sorry you had to endure the intrusion by a workman. You know, some of then are probably cat guys, but not the ones who are clunky & noisy.

  13. Annie, that is terrible! Intruders always have to be approved by kitties. (p.s. We've missed you! We're now getting around to visiting friends.)
