Thankful Thursday (for the Lady)

See my happy paw? |
Last night, after the lady and I went to bed, I was very restless. The lady says she has a hard enough time falling asleep without me keeping her awake too. She finally decided to look and see what I was up to. She saw me sitting next to her, staring up at the wall. She quickly got up, turned on the light and saw what I was staring at: a spider! She promptly got the big guy to dispatch the spider outside. After that, we settled down and went to sleep.
Aieeeee! Our biped hates spiders! She has to dispatch them herself, though--even we don't help!
ReplyDeleteWell, it was fun to watch for a while pretty Annie!
ReplyDeleteMum hates it when we find a big spider crossing the floor - she's scared we'll eat it and get sick!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That was some great hunting and pointing you did with that spider, Annie! My furbabies help me keep intruders out of our house as well - last night, they helped me chase out a moth! Whew!
ReplyDeleteMom is glad you alerted your peeps to that spider. She would hate to think of it crawling all over them in the night! Well done, Annie.

You're an excellent watch cat, Annie Bear! Just think what might have happened if you hadn't been keeping watch!! *shudders* xxxx
ReplyDeleteHumans are such spoilsports! And look at you, you still have a happy paw - you are such a nice kitty.
ReplyDeletegood for you for saving the day! (or night as the case may be)
ReplyDeleteYou're a hero to all humans for flushing out the spider! Humans seem to be surprisingly afraid of them.
ReplyDeleteMy mom doesn't like spiders in the house either. Sometimes she smacks them (or asks dad to do it), but sometimes they get taken outside. You have a cute happy paw.
ReplyDeleteYou're a very good watchcat, Annie. We know the lady appreciated that.
ReplyDeleteWell done Annie. Mom saw me looking at something underneath the cabinet in the kitchen and when she swept it out it was a mole. Ooooooo it had a wonderful smell but she took it away (It was dead) and I couldn't play with it anymore.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you saved everybody from Impending DOOM!
ReplyDeleteYour happy paw is very cute indeed. It's a good thing you were there to find the spider and it didnt' end up in her hair!
