1. I wish shoulder pads would come back in style. No, not really. I happen to have some very nice outfits of my grandmother's, who was very fashionable, but they have shoulder pads. The outfits are from the '80s, so shoulder pads had already came back into style for a second time during that period.

2. I always have hand sanitizer and Kleenex in my purse. ChapStick too.

3. I think that I am very tired from a long week at work.

4. Adults wearing their pajamas to the grocery store or a restaurant is a pet peeve of mine. I apologize if someone reading this does this. I think I've turned into a stuffy old lady. :)  This certainly has nothing to do with my fashion sense, which is sorely lacking!

1. Snow is pretty and fun, but it's difficult when it comes to driving and shoveling.

2. My favorite kind of soup is homemade chicken noodle soup.

3. When no one is around, I wear my slouchiest sweats. Since I work from home and tend to be a homebody, I'm in sweats a lot!

4. Chocolate is my favorite afternoon snack.

Thankful Thursday

We received some thoughtful gifts from Snowball and her mom for Valentine's Day. They are so sweet. They sent three fun toys, some socks for the lady and an adorable Valentine's card. Pierrot loves the toys. He loves to whap, bat and pounce on them every day. I like to roll around on them.

The lady also got us some new nip toys. I was checking to be sure that there wasn't anything left in the box.

Friendly Fill-Ins

1. My favorite kind of cookie is sugar. I love cookies, and when I bake, I almost only bake cookies.

2. ____________ would play me in a movie about my life. I struggled so much with this one. I don't look like any celebrities. I was trying to think of someone that is close to my age, but because I couldn't come up with someone that is even similar to me, I didn't choose anyone. I'm so curious to see how others answer this.

3. Love is kind and patient. It is not rude or selfish. It does not demand its own way. It keeps no record of being wronged. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.

4. For Valentine's Day, I like to give a small token of thoughtfulness such as chocolates, a card, a new catnip toy. The last one is for the kitties of course. :)

Hi! We're joining 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader for Friendly Fill-Ins.

1. My middle name is Kay. It's my mom's first name.

2. I usually like surprises.

3. The Super Bowl will be on at our house, but I'm not a football fan and my husband isn't partial to either of the teams playing.

4. My favourite sport is basketball. I'm not a sports player or a sports fan, but I've been to some Laker's games and they're fun to watch live. I also just recently discovered that it's fun to shoot hoops even though I'm not very good.

Thankful Thursday

Lately, I've been hanging out on the back of the couch. It's quite comfy. I supervise the lady from there while she's working, which usually leads to a nap.

The lady put my blankie there to make it snugglier. It's great for biscuit makin'!
