Sunday Selfies

Yesterday, was laundry day. The lady placed the new sheets on the bed and then went to do something else. When she came back to make the bed, she saw me pawing and pawing at the sheets. I made a nest, then burrowed in and stayed there all day. I peeked out to take my selfie.

Pierrot also took a nap so the lady had to put off making the bed until much later.

We want to wish Astrid and Lisbeth a very happy fourth birthday! They belong to the Kitties Blue at The Cat on My Head, the wonderful hosts of this fun blog hop that is now going into its second year.

Today I attempted to do a watercolor. Annie, just recently, sometimes sits with me when I'm on the recliner, keeping me company while I do my work or read. She's really become a sweet companion.

The Kittyhood of the Traveling Bikini

Phoebe at 15 and Meowing is doing a fun thing called The Kittyhood of the Traveling Bikini. She posed in the bikini and since then the bikini has been traveling around to different kitties. She looks so cute, doesn't she?

We received it from Friends FurEver who had it last. They also sweetly included some mousies in the package and Phoebe included a crocheted fishie. 

I have to warn you. You may find these pictures disturbing! Why? Well, if you're expecting, me, Annie, to be wearing the bikini, you're wrong. It's Pierrot!

He kept coming out of the bottoms and the top sort of turned into a belt. (Pierrot and I blame the lady.) Believe it or not, he enjoyed wearing the bikini and all the attention he got. He also got a new sparkle ball (one of his passions) for being such a good sport.

Kitties Blue, you've been warned. It's coming your way next!

Caturday Art

This week I turned Annie's picture into a pencil drawing. I wish I could draw because I would love to be able to sketch her.
