Sunday Selfies

Pierrot wanted his selfie next to a very special Christmas gift he received from his sweetheart, Snowball of 15 and Meowing. We also received that cute crinkly toy that looks like a present and a toy that looks like candy that is residing under Pierrot in this picture.

I decided to get up close for my selfie. Maybe a bit too close.

We will have a quiet Christmas with just the four of us. (The lady and big guy left us for NYC for two nights and will be back early Christmas afternoon.)

Chewy Review: Armarkat Cat Tree

We received the Armarkat Cat Tree from Chewy.com to review as part of their Blogger Outreach Program. 

I am so thankful to have this opportunity because Pierrot loves it! I waited a few weeks before reviewing to see if his joy for this cat tree would wane but it hasn't. 

He loves to just hang out on it, but he goes crazy for the ball hanging from the platform.

A brilliant move from Armarkat: they include a replacement ball. Surprisingly, we haven't had to replace it yet. That says a lot. Pierrot is constantly whapping, biting and pulling on it. I didn't think the ball would last long, but it's still as good as new.

This cat tree is very easy to assemble. It took just minutes to put together. The overall dimensions are 24 x 14 x 26 inches. The only downside is Pierrot has knocked it down a few times. He's a big kitty with more strength than he realizes. Sometimes when he jumps off, it falls over.

Focus Fun on a Wordless Wednesday

The Horror

Friends, I had to recover from the horror that occurred on Saturday. Our dishwasher broke a few weeks ago. The new one was installed yesterday. This required a stranger in my home, using loud tools, talking and walking around (looking for me). I hid in the lady's closet the entire time. The lady checked on me frequently, and I heard her comment to the big guy that I looked terrified and never relaxed. How am I to relax when there's a cat murderer in our house??

I finally relaxed at bedtime on my pink pad with lots of tummy rubs from the lady.

A Delightful Friday

Everything is calm and sunny. Even Pierrot is chill (he must be thinking of something nice).

#OptToAdopt - Trish Has Been Waiting Two Years!

We wanted to take the opportunity to highlight a kitty who needs a forever and ever home. 

Patricia has been with Save the Cats, Inc. for two years. She was found as a stray at a trailer park community. She is very loving but needs to be in a household as the only kitty. She is FELV/FIV tested negative, spayed and has received all of her vaccinations. It would be a true blessing if she could be in her forever home for Christmas! Two years is a long time! Friends, do you wonder why I'm usually snoozing or tired-looking in my pictures?

Well, I blame it on Pierrot. He wears me out. He's constantly pouncing on me, jumping out at me, jumping over me or trying to chase me.  I need my rest!  The lady says Pierrot is fun-loving.

Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful for my yummy foodies, even if the lady has to take my picture while I'm eating because she thinks I look cute.

I'm not as thankful for the picture-taking while I'm taking my after-dinner bath.

Sunday Selfies

We didn't have any sun yesterday so I asked the lady to take my selfie as I was busy keeping my paws tucked and warm.

Pierrot looks funny here, but he was really content. He was resting his legs in the track of the toy and stretching his neck on the cardboard. The big guy couldn't resist snapping this quickly with his cell phone, so we decided to use it as his selfie.

Black Friday

Are you or your humans going to shop the Black Friday sales? The lady says she's avoiding the mall and shops with the exception of one store: PetSmart! She wants to see if there are some good sales. Oh, I hope there are!

That little doohickey next to me is a space heater. It's wonderful! I can highly recommend it!

Pierrot is thankful for his new candy cane sleigh scratcher that the lady got for him at PetSmart. He's also thankful for his new girlfriend, Snowball, at 15andmeowing.com.

Me? I'm thankful for a big, towel-covered pillow.

Chewy Review: KONG Triangle Play Mat for Cats

I am excited for the opportunity from Chewy's Blogger Outreach Program to review the KONG Triangle Play Mat for Cats. Honestly, this isn't something I would normally buy for Annie and Pierrot, so I am happy for this occasion.

 

This mat creates an inviting play space for indoor cats. It has a catnip mouse that enticingly dangles from the roof to encourage batting. The inside is very soft and one panel is textured to encourage scratching. Pierrot plays with it daily, multiple times a day, but he doesn't go inside. He loves to sneak up on the mousie and give it many smacks and bites. Sometimes, there's a toy that's mysteriously sitting inside waiting to be hunted and captured. He loves that.  

The main drawback is the size. It's quite small.

Pierrot looks silly here, but he also uses this toy to hide behind and pounce on Annie.

Thankful Thursday

Yesterday, I had a lovely nap on my soft blankie, a nice combing, sunshine and some treats in the evening. These are my favorite things.

Pierrot is thankful too. He's just busy right now.
