Friendly Fill-Ins

Annie, the biscuit maker

We are joining 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader for Friendly Fill-Ins. Feel free to join, even if just in the comments! It's fun to read peoples' answers.

1. I wish shoulder pads would come back in style. No, not really. I happen to have some very nice outfits of my grandmother's, who was very fashionable, but they have shoulder pads. The outfits are from the '80s, so shoulder pads had already came back into style for a second time during that period.

2. I always have hand sanitizer and Kleenex in my purse. ChapStick too.

3. I think that I am very tired from a long week at work.

4. Adults wearing their pajamas to the grocery store or a restaurant is a pet peeve of mine. I apologize if someone reading this does this. I think I've turned into a stuffy old lady. :)  This certainly has nothing to do with my fashion sense, which is sorely lacking!

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am always in pajamas at home, but would NEVER leave the house in them. Walmart is the place I see a lot of that though. I hope you have a nice weekend. Snowball sends Pierrot kisses and Annie, you are a cutie.

  4. My human is on the same page as you about shoulder pads - she has some outfits from the 1980s that she loves but can't wear because the shoulder pads date them. And most frustratingly, they still fit!

  6. I always hated shoulder pads ... but most are relatively easy to remove (speaking from experience!!). Kleenex and chapstick are staples around here too. That's a great sunpuddle you found, Annie!

  8. We like your fill in answers. No one should wear their pajamas out of the house. :)

  9. I'm must be showing my middle-aged lady mindset too, because I keep thinking how slovenly most kids (of all ages) and young adults look. I'm not fond of sweatpants out in public, either, but if you need to be quick and super-comfortable, at least put on a pair of nice-fitting ones with a decent tee-shirt or sweater. LOL.

As for shoulder pads....noooooo!!!! LOL! I remember them well, I worked in a woman's business clothing store through much of the 80s and early 90s. Everything had those pads.

  12. Good answers! Now who in their right mind wears pj to the store? I know I have heard many do but it just boggles the mind.

  13. I love that picture! Sweet! Shoulder pads! Yikes! I remember those...and wore them. Yeah, I am old. I carry those items, too. It bothers me to see anyone in pjs in public! I remember when it was illegal. Yeah, I'm old.
Sorry that I am late, I could get an excuse/note from my vet, if needed. HUGS!
