Sunny Friday

The last couple of days have been rainy and we were under a tornado watch Wednesday night. I'm so happy today is sunny! I'm going to have my afternoon nap right here.

Hey lady! Feel free to serve up some snacks when I wake up!

Easy Like a Sunday Morning

The lady was in the beginning stages of making the bed when we decided to help. By help, I mean planting ourselves on the comfy flannel sheet.

We're just about to enjoy our Easy Sunday, but before we do, I want to wish you an Easy Sunday too!

It's All About Us on Thankful Thursday

Hi! Today we are thankful that we got a shout-out from Raz, Ellie and Allie from Friends FurEver.
They gave us an award called The One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you! We are to now share seven things about ourselves. We'd like to share things that may not already be known.
  1. Annie's legs are very short, and when she walks, her back legs turn inward. We've been told this is called cow-hocked.
  2. This is Pierrot's first picture right after he came to live with us. He looks so innocent. Trouble is Pierrot's middle name. Well, not really. He doesn't have a middle name, but if he did, it would be Trouble! (Good thing his girlfriend, Snowball, likes bad boys!)
  3. Annie's front paws are declawed. Her previous owners had her declawed when she was one. She loves to use sisal scratching posts. For the record, declawing is not something we would ever choose to do.
  4. Pierrot's original name was Snowball. Do you wonder why he's named Pierrot? Well, the big guy loves all things French. Pierrot is a 17th-century character who's a clown with a whitened face, a little buffoonish, gentle and trusting.
  5. Annie loves tummy rubs and loves to be combed.
  6. Pierrot loves to be chased by Annie and tries all kinds of antics to get her to chase him. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. When she won't chase him, he walks around the house crying. When she does chase him, because of those short legs, he runs slowly and looks over his shoulder to be sure she's still behind him.
  7. Annie and Pierrot seem to be very happy and content and that makes their lady happy!
We think you all have lovely blogs and would love to read seven facts about you too!

Selfies on Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! For my selfie, I'm wearing my new Valentine bandanna that I received from a friend.

Pierrot, our resident clown, was silly for his selfies.

He's so happy. He received a Valentine's gift from his Valentine, Snowball. She sent him a card, two toys and some treats. He's been having fun playing with the toys and enjoying the yummy treats.

Happy Friday

Hi! Today is Friday and the lady has the day off. It probably won't get out of the 20s today, but there are flannel sheets, a space heater, blankies and hopefully a sun puddle. I am blessed.

I wish you a happy and warm day!

Sunday Selfies

I had fun taking my selfies with the help of the timer.

Yesterday, the lady and big guy were in Philly. The lady went into a little pet supply store and found this guy, Monty:

Please join the fun. The host of this fun blog hop, The Cat on My Head, is located here.

This is fun and the treats make it even better!
