Chewy Review: KONG Triangle Play Mat for Cats

I am excited for the opportunity from Chewy's Blogger Outreach Program to review the KONG Triangle Play Mat for Cats. Honestly, this isn't something I would normally buy for Annie and Pierrot, so I am happy for this occasion.

This mat creates an inviting play space for indoor cats. It has a catnip mouse that enticingly dangles from the roof to encourage batting. The inside is very soft and one panel is textured to encourage scratching. Pierrot plays with it daily, multiple times a day, but he doesn't go inside. He loves to sneak up on the mousie and give it many smacks and bites. Sometimes, there's a toy that's mysteriously sitting inside waiting to be hunted and captured. He loves that.

The main drawback is the size. It's quite small.
Ginormous cat booty not included

Pierrot looks silly here, but he also uses this toy to hide behind and pounce on Annie.

If you'd like to try out the KONG Triangle Play Mat, head on over to Chewy. I can definitely recommend them for food, litter and other supplies. They have great prices and free 1 to 2-day shipping on orders of $49 or more!

Disclosure: We were not compensated for this post. We received a KONG Triangle Play Mat free of charge in exchange for our honest review, but this did not influence our opinions. All opinions expressed in this post are our own. Chewy is not responsible for the content of this post.
Needless to say, we will be investing in more of these things. I know this one won't last forever, though I will say that it has held up surprisingly well considering all of the scratching/biting/wrestling/hugging it has endured.

If you'd like to try out a Catit Bench Scratcher for yourself, head on over to Chewy! I'd also recommend them for all of your food/toy/accessory needs. They have great prices and free 2-day shipping on orders of $50 or more! The autoship feature is my favorite by far though - we get a month's worth of food, litter, and treats delivered to our door once a month without even having to think about it, for less than what we would pay at a pet store. You can't beat that! - See more at: http://www.kittycatchronicles.com/home/category/product-reviews#sthash.6yYPobXT.dpuf

  5. I'm a small cat, just about 7 lbs., so I would probably like this.

  6. Great review! It sure does look like a fun product, albeit a bit small. Glad to see you're enjoying it so much, Pierrot! And, Annie, watch out for those ambushes!

  7. we got one to review too....we haven't gotten it out yet but it certainly appears more kitten sized (which means the kittens will adore it and some big idiot will get his head stuck in it - MOL)

    2. I'm sure Jeanne agrees with me in hat you shouldn't feel bad about it at all.. we are happy you had a chance to enjoy it.. I just wish that companies wouldn't make kitten sized toys and market it to cats, it just sets them up for failure.. (and I'm sure kittens everywhere don't care about a lack of a mouse.. they climb, they pounce, and about two brain cells are firing at the time so you know.. a mouse would be a distraction)

  12. This looks like a lot of fun! If you run at it very fast, you'll fit right in, Pierrot. Or it will make a very funny photo....

  13. It looks more kitten size than cat size, but it sounds like a lot of fun...'specially for hunting toys that sneak in there. :)

  15. The final photo is purrfection. These do look a little small for an adult cat to go inside...more of a kitten size. Glad you two are having fun with it, though. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth ad Calista Jo

  16. That looks like a great toy. Snowball thinks Pierrot's booty is just the right size :)

  17. That "tunnel" does look a little small for you, but as long as you can use it as a way to sneak up on Annie, it's probably a lot of fun.
