My Vet Appointment

The lady took me to the vet yesterday. We are happy to report that I don't have hyperthyroidism. The vet was very pleased with my health overall. We're waiting to hear the outcome of my urine test. She, the vet, wants to make sure I don't have diabetes and the urine PH looks good because I have a history with stones.
The lady was proud of me. I did really well. When we were in California and Texas, we had cat-only vets. It makes such a difference! There isn't one close to us here. The doggies were so loud.  I growled from my carrier a lot.
Well, it's Caturday, and in true cat fashion, I plan on living it up. That means naps and snacks. I hope you have a great Caturday too!

  8. We're glad you had a good outcome for your visit, Annie. Paws crossed for your UA results. That's something they didn't seem to want to do before Derry's upcoming dental, which makes our human wonder if it's necessary when all is normal. Our previous vet clinic always did UAs for every surgery. Maybe it was an extra money maker in their case. :-/

Anyway, we're glad it's over and done with now for you!

  10. Annie, look how brave you are sitting on the counter at the vet! We usually try to hide in mom's armpits. ;) We're so glad you checked out good...and we hope your pee checks out good as well.

  17. Glad your trip to the vet went well and you are healthy. I think all vet offices should have separate seating for cats and dogs because dogs are always trying to sniff the carriers.

  18. You're a very brave girl at the vet, Annie. We're lucky and there are no doggies at our vet. Glad to hear you're doing OK.

  20. I'm glad your vet visit went well and I hope the rest of your test results are good. Going to the vet is scary and it's too bad you were bothered by doggies. When I went to get my teeth cleaned, there were some noisy dogs in the waiting room but I got my own private room pretty quickly so I didn't get too stressed out.

  25. We're so glad to hear good news, Annie. Our paws are crossed that everything comes back normal. We go to a cat only vet, and when I went to the dentist there were dogs there. Mommy asked if there was a cat only waiting room and the lady behind the desk rolled her eyes. How rude!
