We're Back!

We're still here! It's been about two and a half months!

In some of our last posts, we talked about the lady and big guy house shopping. Well, they bought a house--they're first-time home buyers. It's been a lot of work for them but we're finally all settled and the work, for now, seems to have abated.

Friends, at first, I was so scared. The movers were smelly and loud and I couldn't find anything familiar even though the lady kept pointing out all my things. I hid in the trickiest, most unheard of hiding places. Sadly, the big guy came by and obstructed all entrances to those hiding places because they said I could get hurt. Plus, the second day we were here, when they came back from errands, they couldn't find me. They tore the place apart for about an hour and the lady was reduced to tears. There's a bottom kitchen drawer that missing its drawer but it's where they put all their grocery sacks. I came out of there, the last vestige of hiding places. That's now been thwarted as well.

I am happy and safe once again. I've missed my friends. I can't wait to visit and catch up with everyone!

p.s. Aloha to my friends in Honolulu! :)

  9. We're so glad to see you back, Annie! Moving can be very stressful. One of the cats who came before did the hiding in the most unbelievable places thing in a new place before there was even any furniture to hide under or behind and convinced everyone he had gotten away, so the head peep knows how the lady must have felt when they could not find you. It's good to know that you are happy and no linger hiding once more in your awesome new home!

  12. Welcome back to you all, it's terrific to see a post. We remember you were house-hunting and are glad you're now settled into your new home and NOT hiding.

You know what this means for you, right, Annie? Catio! Seriously, Time to push for that, if your house has enough yard for even a small one. Heh heh.
