Annie Needs a Home by September 1

Hello Friends,
This is Annie. Her present owners are moving 9/1 and they can't take her with them.  She lives at our apartments and will be relinquished to a shelter if a home can't be found. The owner said that all the no-kill shelters are full and aren't taking any animals.

I have two kitties in a two-bedroom apartment that only allows one kitty.  Simba has CRF and Lucy seems to have the beginning of possible thyroid issues (she's going to the vet on Monday).  I'm saying this just to mention why we really can't take her.

She's a sweet, five-year-old with declawed front claws and comes with litter, food, flea meds and bowls. Transportaion would be paid for.

Can anyone help or have any ideas?

  2. Hrrrummpfff. Thou shalt refrain from speaking my mind...

I hope Annie is able to find a forever home before 9/1. It's terrible to be in such a position. :(

  3. Oh, poor Annie! We're purring that someone can take her...What our mom wouldn't give to have *our* Annie still with us. How they can just dispose of her is beyond us, but perhaps there are legitimate and private reasons they don't want to disclose. You never know. :-/

  4. Perhaps you could check in your area if there are any cat rescues not animal shelters that may be able to help you. Money talks and if they are willing to give a good donation with the cat they may be able to find a foster home for her even in these difficult times of over-crowding everywhere.

  9. Gosh, really hope you & owners manage to find a good home for Annie! Although no intention of a new pet, if an animal in need, I would have helped! Hugs for Lucy & Simba X Kindest regards!
