New Year's Eve

We're really not ones for New Year's resolutions in our house.  My life is perfect, so I don't need them.  Mama, on the other hand, doesn't make resolutions but she hopes to stick to her Bible reading in 2010.

Actually, I wouldn't mind some resolutions to get more treats and sunshine, but really, life is good.

Have you made any New Year's resolutions?  Also, what are you doing for the holiday?  I think we are going to spend it quietly at home.  There are fireworks in our town, but I'm kind of hoping Mama stays home with me.  Whatever you do or plan, I wish all of you, my friends that I'm so fortunate to have made, a safe and blessed 2010!

  1. Hi Lucy,
My resolution is to try and stop sneaking my kitty sister's cat crunchies. Well that's what my Mom says my resolution should be!
I wish you a very Happy New Year...I'm not sure if I will stay awake until midnight!
    Luv, Lucy (Woof!)

  2. My resolushun is to stop pestering mom to go outside constantly then as soon as I am out, change my mind and want back in. I do this all day long (hehehe) but mom does not see the hoomor in it. At midnite I will be in my hidey spot sleeping, Dixie will be on mom's bed sleeping and Sydney will be in the bafroom hiding from the firewerks. Happy 2010!

  3. Princess and Kovu are spending their morning watching the snow, and the birds and squirrels. I'm with them, I can sit here for hours and just watch them all!

No resolutions here either.. same stuff every year, but not going to start the New Year all obsessed only to fade quickly.

We plan to stay home too, I guess it depends on the condition of the roads what we do today. Looks like the snow might have stopped for now.

Happy New Year, Lucy, Vicki & James!

  5. Our Daddy is working today and tomorrow. We will spend a quiet time. We don't celebrate much anyway. Tonight we will watch some tv with our Mama.

Our resolution is to meow and meow until mama decides to give us fancy feast twice a day instead of once a day. We aren't sure how that's gonna work out.

We hope you have a wonderfully Happy New Year.

  7. I am just going to do the usual...snuggle with my dad on the couch while he watches a movie and then snuggle under the covers with my mom. My parents are staying in and just relaxing...thats fine with me. If my mom stays up to see the new year in I will stay with her on the couch. Dad will be asleep long before then! Happy, Happy New Year to you Lucy and your siblings as well as to Vicki and James! My mom and I are very thankful that we found your family!
