Looking at Texas

When we first arrived in Texas over two years ago from California, we had to stay in a motel. While we waited for the movers to come with our furniture so we could move into our new apartment, Simba and I liked to look out the window at our new state.

Now we’re in Pennsylvania, but that’s another post.

  1. I remember that. I think you were trying to see your old home. Or maybe it was just a the new birds. :-)

  3. Hi Lucy,
You couldn't ask for a better window! My 'sister' cats have perches so they can look out.

  4. Sometimes, I'd like to be in the cats's heads, to guess what they are thinking about...It's both so exciting and so frightening to discover a new world..

  5. Oh Lucy what a beautiful picture!
I love stay here in my new place looking out the window as well!
How's life in PA now? I have seen pictures from Newton and I think it's a beautiful and peaceful place to live.

  6. Lucy, I totally know what you mean! I only had one hotel night, but I did not like being in that big thing that moved either (car). It has taken me some time to get used to my new home without my feline friends, but I do enjoying looking out the windows at the trees (and birds, squirrels) Outside is scary though!

    Kovu the cat!

  8. Lucy, what were you so intently gazing at? Birds, chipmunks or squirrels? Or perhaps just the whole new world out there!

  9. Sounds like you've moved a lot like me. It just makes us more well rounded, don't you think?
